Springfields Events & Conference Centre is owned by the charity, Springfields Horticultural Society, which directs all of its funds towards the maintenance of its 15 acre show gardens (Springfields Festival Gardens) and keeps them free to enter for the use of the local community and visitors, promoting the area's bulb growing heritage (particularly daffodils and tulips) as well as encouraging people to take up gardening as a means of relaxation and healthy living.
All profits from the trading activities of the Events Centre are gift-aided to the Society to help with the costs of maintaining the gardens. Anyone attending events or holding parties, weddings or conferences at the Centre are therefore helping us to keep the Gardens as a significant local amenity, which are open for people of all ages to enjoy 364 days a year.
Springfield Events & Conference Centre is an adaptable and multi-functional centre consisting of two exhibition halls, a seminar room and five acre outside arena area. The centre is ideally situated on the A16 adjoining the Springfields Outlet Shopping and Festival Gardens and has the advantage of its own free parking facility. The centre includes a 1,000sq.metre main Exhibition Hall, one of the largest in the county, which can be used to host a wide range of events including conferences for up to 750 delegates, gala dinners for up to 500 guests, party nights, sporting events and exhibitions. Outdoor music events including finale firework displays for up to 1,500 people can also be arranged. Additionally, trade exhibitions and public shows anticipating up to 2,500 daily visitors can be accommodated.
The Marquee Suite, with its permanent indoor marquee lining, provides a spectacular year-round, all-weather setting for a variety of events, and is frequently used for such special occasions as weddings and family parties, as well as training courses, presentation dinners and private luncheons. The Springfields event team is available to provide help and advice, and as the centre has its own fully -equipped kitchen, the head chef can offer a selection of menu options for gala dinners, buffets, wedding breakfasts, as well as outdoor barbecues and hog roasts in the Patio Garden. The centre has a dedicated public café area for exhibitions and shows and all the halls have their own private bar facilities.
The centre is designed to accommodate events for all ages and interests, with direct access through to the 15 acres of Springfields own landscaped gardens, water features and natural woodland walk, as well as a children’s play barn and adventure golf, a garden centre, a restaurant and a shopping village with 55 Outlet stores situated next to the centre. There is a 43 bedroom Travelodge hotel on the Springfields site and a wide range of other accommodation facilities in and around the nearby market town of Spalding.
